It's time to move on to the magical aspects of dreaming now that we've determined the practical formalities for dream recall and interpretation.
Dreams can be used to develop your magical skills by condensing the information into a less-known format. The symbolic deviation is essential for communicating with different entities.
If you feel unable to communicate with an entity traditionally, dreaming can be your nontraditional solution. If you master the ability to comprehend and acknowledge the dream sequence, you will uncover many truths which will determine the best way to exchange with entities energetically.
Verbal Communication With Entities
In dreams, dialogue is often more expressive than symbolic placement. It should not be discouraged or excluded, as it is a potent tool for communication. They are not simply words.
As symbols are passive outliers for expression, dialogue is an opportunity for a proactive incision of our consciousness through speech, writing, and verbalization.
In the previous part of this series, we looked at the concept of Complacent Free Associative Psychoanalysis. This establishes a growth from the unconscious state of mind into the conscious acquisition of symbolic meaning.
It is also the next important step in removing bias and removing boundaries for communication during our dream encounters.
It is important to be able to communicate with entities in our dreams before we try to engage with them. This will help us to be better prepared for what is to come and to understand that these entities are independent and have their own free will.
The basics of dream entity communication are presented through a small series of steps.
Full-Body Release and Relaxation
Before beginning the dream magic process, it is important to get into a comfortable position and relax your whole body. This way, you won't have to move around during the process and can focus on the task at hand.
The more you relax, the more you will be able to sense the different ways of communication.
It is recommended to use various relaxation techniques, such as those from eastern and ancient cultures, as well as modern ones like Pranayama, Autogenic Induction, and Deep Muscle Scanning.
When your mind and body are in perfect harmony, you can begin to communicate with your subconscious.
In order to communicate with entities in your dreams, first visualize them clearly and give them form through your own energy. Once you are able to sense the feeling associated with the entity, you are slowly bringing it to life.
At this point, you can begin communicating with your dream, though it may seem like a pointless monologue at first. It is recommended to keep it simple when asking questions about dreams, similar to questions you would ask a friend during an intense trip:
- What is your name?
- What is your goal or intention, and what do you want to achieve?
- What are you planning to do in order to begin communicating with your subconscious mind through your dreams?
- What can I do to help you achieve your goals?
- What can you do to help me achieve my goals?
- What is your purpose for coming to see me?
Sometimes, you may not get an answer to your question right away, or it may not come in the form of words. However, intuition and feeling are the most prominent forms of communication.
We wait for an answer or solution, and after a short period of waiting, an answer or thought form pops into our minds. The answers can be simple or complex, visual or verbal.
Any answer is a right answer. So you must be patient and trust the process. It is possible for the answer to contradict your expectation or thought, but this is actually just the expression of a being on the right path.
As the conscious of a dream entity fabricates its own existence from your own developed subconscious, the entity requires a format to speak, and you provide it with that space.
Active Continuation and Dedication
If you're not satisfied with the response you get from your dream magic, you can either keep going in the same direction or change your approach.
The best way to approach dream magic is to be open to the unexpected and be ready to react spontaneously to what comes up.
Even though dream entities are often straightforward and don't hide their intention and desires, they can still be reproached because they're not bound by censorship.
Progression of Absence
When you're satisfied with what you've accomplished in your dream, you may be tempted to just stop and politely end the conversation while slowly returning to your everyday consciousness.
To practice dream magic effectively, it is important to be able to recall the details of your dream experiences clearly. Pay attention to what you see, hear and feel in your dreams, and take note of these details so that you can use them in your magical practice.
You need to be able to remember your dreams in order to work with them, but it's also important to be able to forget them. Dreams can be easily forgotten if you're not paying attention to them.
It is not enough to be aware of the dialogue in our dreams - we must also make an effort to record the insights and details in writing, so that we can recover and reinterpret the whole context at a later time.
Communication Made Easy
You can interact with plenty of entities - your imagination and lack of knowledge is the only thing stopping you.
Talk to yourself, your loved ones, demons and angels, plants, elements, animals, structures or ideas. Anything you see in a dream can become conscious and filled with life force, as long as you let it.
The goal of this communication technique is to have conversations with the part of you that is awake and aware during dreams while you are in a state of discomfort or awake. You will need a piece of paper and a writing tool to do this.
This article provides a practical approach to dream magic, with a focus on how to progress in your dreaming practice without the need for full-body relaxation.
Do not expect results from dream magic to be as clear as they would be if you released and cleansed your mind through relaxation.
If you use these techniques, you should be able to see changes in your dreams.
After practicing regularly, you will become used to communicating with dream entities, and it will happen automatically during sleep and when you are awake.
The practice of dream magic can help you develop your dream-self and achieve personal freedom.
Difference of Principality Between States of Dream & Reality
The things we see in our dreams only exist for as long as we pay attention to them. If we stop thinking about an object or person in a dream, it will disappear.
One cannot die in a dream and continue the dream experience. Death in a dream is simply a transition from one state to another.
Anything that is "to be created" or "thought of" in a dream takes place in that instant. So if you dream of something scary, you'll create a fear-based circumstance. If you dream of something romantic, you'll create a romantic encounter. And if you dream of something caring, you'll create a caring empathy.
There is no difference between fantasy and reality in a dream; they are one and the same.
A sequence is linked together by association and connective precedence rather than the logical structure. Things that are similar are linked together by differences, and things that are different are linked together by similarities.
Negated Entity Segmentation and Descriptor
In this section, we will discuss the different categories of entities and the descriptors that go along with them.
In our dreams, we can encounter all sorts of different entities and figures, who can take on any form and behave in any way.
Entities of Dominant Character
You have probably encountered a powerful entity in your dreams that tries to influence your behavior, even if you don't want it to.
In most cases, an entity of the dominant character takes on a hierarchical role over the dreamer, constricting the ability to act, build, progress, and explore in the dream world.
Some entities in the dream world have a stronger presence than others and can cause the dream world to lose its diversity and become less important. Some of these entities coincide with our primal, hidden character.
There are two common types of entities of dominant character: those that are overtly aggressive and wild, and those that are more imaginary creatures.
These entities can be expressed through simple, authoritative forms such as our parents, teachers, and bosses.
This section discusses entities of dominant character, which represent the aspects of ourselves that we suppress. These entities coincide with our inherent needs, desires and drives and represent the ethical, moral and societal complications that we are so accustomed to.
Entities of Imperious Dictation
This type of entity often uses the past as a pretext, as they exceed the first category in terms of conflict and lack of growth.
Some entities try to control dreamers by dictating what their dreams mean. The best way to deal with these entities is to express confidence in oneself and one's own reality. This will weaken the entity's authority and show them that their dualistic perspective is not the only valid one.
In order to effectively work with entities, we must first understand them fully. This includes their weaknesses, fears, desires, and motivations. In many cases, this is easier said than done.
We can observe entities in our dreams who seem to be trying to find resolutions to problems.
Sometimes the act of watching someone's dreams can turn into a physical conflict, giving the entity a chance to establish its dominance over the dreamer.
We must remember that if the being we are communicating with is playing along with us, we must also play along with them. This means engaging in a verbal conflict over who is who and what is what. The conflict of dominance and submission.
Entities of Antiquity
In the case of an entity from antiquity, it is suicide to communicate and observe them. In order to resolve their presence, we must damage them and prevent their further attacks. Initiating dialogue is a starting point for gauging their weakness and desire.
If the being we're trying to communicate with cooperates and engages in conversation, we can avoid destroying them and instead work out a solution.
Once we determine the motivation behind the actions of the entities we encounter in our dreams, we can discover possible solutions for satisfying their needs while remaining true to our own integrity.
It is better for both parties if they can both win, rather than if only one party benefits.
In conclusion, we must remember not to give in to the entity and never allow it to control us. If the entity tries to stop us from progressing or becomes violent, we must use physical force to destroy it.
Entities of Vampiric Contrivance
AIt is often better to feed the negated entity's livelihood, by implementing traditional approaches to energetic exchange rather than limiting their resources.
This process is similar to the tantric practice of Chöd or the islamic Jihad. It is a way of resolving inner conflict by getting rid of the ego.
I have created a simplified version of the above dream magic practices for personal use.
When dealing with entities that torment you, it is not advised to try to determine whether they are real or just a figment of your imagination. Worrying about their existence will not help.
It is important to approach dream magic in a structured, ritualistic way. rather than trying to subjugate or defeat an entity at the end of a rite, it is better to feed it.
This will satisfy the being's innate desires and prevent the force that created it from continuing to hold it in a state of wanting and dissatisfaction.
When your feed subsidizes the inner drive - the being changes form, transmutes and sometimes uncovers the potential for allying with the true entity that has been hidden from us by aggressive tendencies.
This is a very debased rendition of the process, but it is a more of metaphor to experiment with, rather than a practice to live by.
In order to create a vampiric entity, you must first bring it to light. This involves understanding its implications and being able to invoke them.
The Process for Negated Entity Reformation
This process of negating and reforming entities can be initiated during a sleep segment, but it can also be completed during waking life. However, once you become proficient at sleeping, you will be able to do this very vividly.
Prepare for Initiation
When setting up the seating area for your initiation into dream magic, make sure to have 2-4 chairs or seats available.
Create an atmosphere that is free from any disturbances and is relatively quiet so you can focus on the task at hand. Choose one of the seats and settle in while relaxing both your body and mind.
Once you are comfortable, switch to another seat without opening your eyes. This will help clear away any residual thoughts or emotions you may be carrying with you before beginning your initiation into dream magic.
Envision & Evoke
Once your eyes are closed and you begin to imagine the entity before you, take some time to observe its features. Is it a humanoid figure? Does it have wings or other animal characteristics? What is its size in relation to yours and what color is it?
Please take note of any symbols or patterns that appear on the entity as they can provide insight into its nature and intentions. After observing, communicate with the entity by asking questions directly related to the previous steps outlined in this guide.
Listen carefully for answers from within yourself or externally through another source such as sound, emotion, sight, or feeling. Pay close attention to any messages conveyed by the entity so that you may gain further understanding about how best to proceed with dream magic.
Take a few moments to sit in the place of the entity you want to talk to, with your eyes closed. Allow yourself to relax and clear your mind so that you can be open to any messages or insights that come through.
Visualize yourself becoming one with the entity, merging into it while still keeping an awareness of your physical body sitting in the chair. Look at yourself from the entity's perspective and consider all possible desires, drives, and motivations before responding to any questions or ideas that may come up during this process.
If anything feels unclear or confusing, take some time to reflect on what it could mean for you personally - this is often an important part of dream magic as it helps us gain insight into our own lives as well as those around us.
Return to Base
Once you have changed your seat with your eyes closed, return to the form in which you began. Imagine that the entity is still seated across from you and visualize yourself transforming into a form of energy that can be used as sustenance for this entity - an emotional state, feeling or action. Feel yourself merging into this new form and becoming one with it.
Allow the entity to feed upon this sustaining force but only until it is content; if not, then reinterpret the steps above to create a result more suitable for both parties involved. Once satisfied, end the dream magic session by thanking the spirit or energy source before leaving its presence in peace.
Transformation & Metamorphosis
Once the entity has completed its transformation, take some time to observe any changes that have occurred. These changes will likely be unique to each entity and could range from minor shifts in physical form or energy to a completely new being.
At this point, the entity should be fully transformed and you may find yourself welcomed by someone familiar – either an ally or even a family member - rather than an opposing force.
Continue engaging in conversation with this newly transformed being; ask questions about why they chose you as their guide on this journey and make sure to request both a name and symbolic invitation which can serve as a reference for future dream magic sessions. This information will allow you to continue your relationship with them down the line if desired.
Implement for Analysis
Once you have completed your dream analysis, remain seated in silence and allow any emotion or energy to flow through you.
Don't try to control the emotions that arise, nor attempt to manipulate them in any way. Instead, observe without judgment as everything dissipates on its own. You will be able to tell intuitively when the process has been concluded as it will become evident that there is nothing more for you to do at this time.
This could come across as a physical sensation such as feeling lighter or just an awareness of being finished with the exercise; either way it's important not to rush this part of your practice but instead allow yourself plenty of time and space for reflection afterwards.
Dream Magic to Be Continued

This content is meant to provide a foundation for further exploration into the world of dream magic. Expiscor - the journey of unbound discovery - should be continued in order to allow for the development of variable consciousness.
You can consider other sources of information to help you create your dream magic repertoire. Everything is open to interpretation, as this is based on my own personal experience. The starting point for your dream initiation.
